Overview
Munna Lal Bhawan is another boy’s campus-residence at Roorkee College of Engineering, Roorkee having the capacity of 281 seats and has got its name on the name of Late Shri Munna Lal Ji, Grandfather of honourable Chairman Sir Shri CA S. K. Gupta Ji. The ML Bhawan is meant for the senior/ current students of Roorkee College of Engineering, Roorkee.
Each Hostel is having a separate study room and group discussion also. Each hostel is having the daily newspaper facility. The hostel premises comprises of a separate dining facility in the Boys’ and Girls’ hostels. The menu of the Mess is decided by the Students’ Mess Committees. The food served is of high quality and meets the acceptable quality standards of as laid down under FSSAI and other Govt food safety regulations. Special consideration is given to provide a well-balanced, nutritional diet with varying food tastes.
Each hostel has a residential Faculty Warden, Assistant Warden, and Attendants who are being monitored by a Chief Warden of RCE to promptly address the day to day issues of the hostel residents. To ensure security and safety of the hostel inmates 24X7 security guards are on duty and CCTV cameras have been installed for active surveillance.
The Online Suggestion/Feedback facility is also available through the local network to each hostel regarding Food, Room Maintenance, or any other Suggestions/Feedbacks and immediate action is taken within 24 hours.
The accommodation at ML Bhawan comprises of American style apartments which are well furnished, hygienic and have ultra-modern amenities. There is a total of Three Block in ML Bhawan. Each block consists of state-of-the-art designed rooms with attached lobby. Each room has box type bed, big almirah, mattresses and bed sheet for each student. The ML Bhawan premise also has a common room with Satellite TV Facility, study room and state-of-the-art indoor sports facilities.
